Who pays us, exactly.
Contractors in our network pay us for the work we send them, the way they’d pay for any advertising. Homeowners never pay us anything, and there’s no markup hiding in your quote: the contractor prices the job the same way they’d price it walking in cold.
A homeowner who actually has the problem they fix, in their service area, qualified before the phone rings, instead of a lead sold to five call centers racing to out-dial each other.
Leverage. A contractor whose next introduction depends on how they handled the last one behaves differently than one who bought your number in bulk. That accountability is the product.
Sell your information to anyone else, auction your job to multiple companies, accept pay-to-play from contractors who can’t pass the standard, or take a dime from homeowners.
What every partner signs before they hear your name.
Being in this network is a standing agreement, in writing:
License checked against the state registry for the job size and county (the rules we published), plus insurance certificates on file, renewed, not assumed.
Assessments come back with readings, photos, and itemized written scopes. “Trust me” is not a deliverable in this network.
Contact windows they actually hit, and radon deadlines treated like the contract dates they are. Slow responses lose network standing; we watch.
Every job’s outcome gets reported back to us, and how homeowners rate the experience decides who stays in the network. Partner names and license numbers get published on this site as each joins.
Fair questions
Why only one contractor? Don’t I want competing quotes?
You’re always free to get other quotes. We’d encourage it on big jobs, and our pages teach you how to compare them. What we won’t do is blast your number to five companies at once, because you’ve experienced what that feels like from the receiving end. One accountable introduction at a time, next one on request: you get comparison without the phone spam.
What do you do with my information?
It goes to the one contractor matched to your job, and it stays in our records so we can hold that contractor accountable for how the job went. It is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone else: not other contractors, not data brokers, not “marketing partners.” The privacy policy says this in the long form; this sentence is the short form.
What if the contractor you send is bad?
Tell us. That feedback is literally the quality system. You get the next contractor immediately, and the miss goes in the first one’s file; enough misses and they’re out of the network. This only works because sending you one accountable pro is the entire business: we have no incentive to defend a bad one.
Are you a contractor?
The work gets done by licensed, insured East Tennessee contractors. We’re the ones who find them, vet them, and hold them to the standards on this page. Practically, that means you tell us the problem once and a proven local pro handles it, with your contract for the work signed directly with them, license number on the quote. The upside of that arrangement: we’re not bidding on your job, so we have no reason to talk you into a bigger one.
